Reverend Fun's Weekly Cartoon!
Golf Cheater
Sitting at a table in the clubhouse after a game, Joe said to a fellow club member, "I'm not about to play golf with Jim Walsh anymore. He cheats."
"Why do you say that?"
"Well, he found his lost ball two feet from the green."
"That's possible."
"Not when I had it in my pocket!"

Missed Call
My daughter Marina worked in my law office while she attended graduate school. One morning a call came in for her. I said she wasn't in yet and offered to take a message. The caller said she'd phone back later.
At 11:00 a.m., the caller tried again, and I reported that Marina had gone to lunch.
The last call came in at 3:30 p.m. "I'm sorry," I said, "she's left for the day. May I take a message?"
"Yes," the caller replied. "How can I get a job with you?"
*Thanks to Pastor Tim for this joke!*

How's My Driving?
I decided to stop worrying about my teenage son's driving and take advantage of it.
I got one of those bumper stickers that say, "How's my driving?" and put a 900 number on it.
At 50 cents a call, I've been making $38 a week.
*Thanks to Pastor Tim for this joke!*

The Parson's Ponderings: A Gesture of Gratitude
by Rev. Michael L. White
In this month in which we in the USA celebrate Thanksgiving, I have a lot to be thankful for. I'm thankful for parents who raised me to believe in Jesus, and though they didn't make a lot of money, they saw to it that I and my siblings were never hungry nor naked nor homeless. I'm thankful for a wife and children who have brought joy into my life. I'm thankful for a nation where I could live and worship with freedom, and most of all, I'm thankful for a God who has provided so generously and graciously for my every need, especially the salvation of my eternal soul. Indeed, I have received a great deal more from all of them than I have ever given to any of them. These mere words can hardly make up for my lack, but I hope they will reflect in even the smallest measure that I, at least, acknowledge their kindness and offer a feeble gesture of gratitude. Thank you, Mama and Daddy. Thank you, Ellen, Amy, and Josh. Thank you, America, and thank You, Lord, for loving me when I was at my least lovable. Happy Thanksgiving, and God bless you all!
