Visit the Parson's Office page and you'll discover a host of Christian resources for clergy and laity alike. In this area, you can find Bible commentaries, sermon databases, pastoral minstry materials, Bible study materials, and a plethora of other Christian resources. You can also listen to a contemplative tune on the music player and/or leave the Parson a note on the notepad. There's lots to do in there!
If it's devotional, pastoral, or instructional articles you're interested in, the Parson's Writings area is a list of many of the articles I've written for various publications over the years. If you wish to reprint any of them, please contact me by email to obtain permission. I am continually adding to this area of Christian writing, so check back often!
The Affiliates area takes you to a page containing a number of other sites who have affiliate partnerships with Parson Place for a mutual promotion of each other's site.
The Testimonials area will show you a few actual testimonies "in their own words" of real people like you who have submitted their praise comments about their experience with Parson Place. If you'd like to submit your praise testimony about your experience with Parson Place, just send your comments in an email to info@parsonplace.com, and I'll be happy to consider it for the Parson Place Testimonials page.
The Miscellaneous Collections area takes you to a list of several of my personal collections of software, Christian clip art, humor and inspirational stories, and quotable quotations. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to organizing them into alphabetical categories.
The Game Room has a number of fun-to-play, online games to distract you from your troubles for a little while. There are jig-saw puzzles, find-a-word puzzles, scramble puzzles, and one really addictive Flash game, just to name a few, so take your pick, and settle in for some fun and relaxation.
The Developer's Area displays a page of links to three articles from the Parson on the topics of how to create web pages, how to write batch files, as well as Internet security articles, Windows tips, and links to other developers' sites. The keyboard and mouse tips alone are worth your time for looking at this page!
The Internet Security area takes you to an area of Parson Place that deals with maintaining privacy and security while connected to the Internet. Everyone should check out this area, just to be safe!
The Family Newsletter area will display a list of all past family newsletters I've written for family and friends at Christmas and for New Year's. This will give you a little personal view of the White Family in recent years.
The Parson Place Banner area will take you to a page where you can choose from different Parson Place banners to display on your own web site, if you so desire. If you decide to post one on your web site, let me know, and I'll be happy to return the favor with either a banner or a link back to your site from Parson Place. I call this "link swapping with Parson Place", which leads me to the next area's description.
The Links area takes you to a page of links to other great sites, both personal and organizational, who have agreed to swap links with Parson Place. I'm always looking for new links to add to this page, so I heartily encourage you to contact me with your request to add your web site to the list. Just remember to add back a link to Parson Place, too. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
The Online Bible area takes you to a page where you can search for a passage of Scripture in a wide variety of versions and languages of the Bible on the Web. Thanks to the Bible Gateway for providing the code for this feature.
The Search area takes you to a page of Christian search engines on Parson Place. This may be something you didn't know much about--Christian search engines, I mean--so I encourage you to visit this page and try a few searches on for size.
The Advertizers area takes you to a page on Parson Place where you can buy advertizing on either Parson Place or in the monthly Parson Place newsletter. I think the prices are quite reasonable right now, but as this feature grows in popularity, and the Parson Place subscription base increases, the prices will inevitably rise. Get your purchase in now, or if you know of a good business to recommend, let them know about it and send them to it!
The Scam Alert area takes you to a page where I warn you about a variation on the old Nigerian Millionaire scam. It's now targeting Christians, churches, and parachurch agencies. Be sure to read this page now, so you won't get caught up in this. I've ceased adding to this page any new scam emails I receive, because they're simply too many, and they are all virtually alike.
The About the Parson area takes you to a short bio and credo page where you will perhaps learn more than you ever wanted to know about me. Read this one just to satisfy your curiousity about who I am and what I stand for.
