I. After Jesus' Ascension (Matthew 24:3-14; Mark 13:3-13; Luke 21:7-24; Daniel 12:4b)

A. Beginning of persecutions
B. Worldwide proclamation of the Gospel
C. Increased rebellion

II. The Rapture (Matthew 24:40-44; John 11:21-27; 1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

A. Always imminent
B. No prophetic fulfillments required for it to happen
C. Most likely to occur prior to start of the Tribulation

III. The Tribulation (Daniel 12:1; Matthew 24:15-29; Mark 13:14-25; Luke 1:25-26)

A. Apostasy within the church (II Thessalonians 2:3)
B. Signing of Seven Year Covenant with Israel and revealing of "the lawless one" --the Antichrist (II Thessalonians 2:3-10)

1. More widespread deception by false teachings, signs, and wonders (Revelation 13:11-15)
2. Desecration of the holy place (Daniel 12:11; Matthew 24:15-28; Mark 13:14-23; Luke 21:20-24)
3. Countered by preaching of two witnesses during first half of the Tribulation (Revelation 11:3-12; Zechariah 4:11-14)

B. Sealing of 144,000 Jewish evangelists of God for protection (Revelation 7:1-8)
C. Natural wonders (Matthew 24:29; Mark 13:24, 25; Luke 21:25-26; Revelation 8:5-9:20; Revelation 11:19; Revelation 16:1-21)

1. Worldwide earthquakes
2. Environmental devastations
3. Astronomical/celestial disturbances

D. Great Day of God's Wrath (Revelation 6:15-20:10)

IV. Return of Jesus Christ (II Thessalonians 1:6-10; Revelation 19:11-20:15)

A. Defeat of antichrist, his prophet, and his armies
B. Binding of Satan for 1,000 years
C. Jesus’ Millennial Reign (Isaiah 11:1-10)
D. Satan loosed for a short while to lead final world-wide assault against Christ and His saints, then defeated FOREVER!
E. Satan cast into Lake of Fire with antichrist and false prophet
F. Great White Throne Judgment of all wicked humanity since creation
G. All wicked cast into Lake of Fire

V. Eternity (Revelation 21:1-22:21)

A. New Heaven and New Earth (see also Isaiah 65:17)
B. New Jerusalem (Holy City, the eternal abode of the Church—Believers in Jesus Christ—sanctified FOREVER!)
